 Foundation in Health Law and Policy FALL & WINTER
This foundation course will consist of lectures and didactic presentations on a range of topics relevant to health law and policy. Topics include the organization of medicine, access and financing of healthcare, the regulation of healthcare and fraud and abuse, privacy and confidentiality, expert witness and scientific evidence, reducing medical errors, and bioethics. The structure is designed to encourage students from both healthcare and the legal fields to discuss and work together on key issues from their own professional perspectives.
